The pieces we offer on our web-site for sale are created and brought to you by Roger and Ildiko Wagoner signature artists of the Black Hills of South Dakota - www.artistoftheblackhills.org - and son, Peter Ivanyi.
What sets RWD Inc. apart from other jewelry companies? Quality, integrity, and fairness to the customer. When a customer purchases a piece of jewelry or sculpture from RWD, they can be sure that it was HAND-MADE, not assembled on some vast assembly line by people who don't really care at all about the product. We create every piece ourselves! NO mass-production here. We also feel that our integrity shows in our pricing. Nowhere else are you going to find hand-made jewelry of exceptional quality for such modest pricing. We always give the customer more than they expect. We are willing to spend the extra time and effort to make sure our customers get what they paid for.
RWD Inc. is a team of three individuals: Roger Wagoner, Ildiko Wagoner, and son Peter Ivanyi. Each brings their own unique vision and talents to the company that is also a family.
Ildiko Wagoner has 20 years of experience in designing and manufacturing jewelry. Ildiko became involved with designing jewelry as a teenager when she hand made and marketed beaded jewelry in her homeland of Hungary. As a member of this team, Ildiko was able to address the technical aspects of design and production with the practical insight developed from working for a black hills gold industry. She also has the not-so-easy task to take the customers idea and turn it into reality by drawing, carving wax, casting it in metal. Making a mold, final assembly, finishing, and creating a piece of wearable art. Ildiko has been closely monitoring the market expansion in Europe and Canada reviewing the initial start-up cost related to this expansion.
Roger Wagoner brings a whole different perspective to the team. Roger spent many years in the horse business in Indiana, raising and showing champion horses. Roger's artistic career took off after he moved to the Black Hills and began working as a sculptor. Later, working for working for the same gold company as Ildiko, he had the opportunity to create miniature wildlife sculptures for gold jewelry. His experience as a designer in the jewelry industry enabled him to launch his own jewelry line. Wagoner has also created life size or larger pieces in clay or foam for casinos all over the world. His Black Hills inspired sculptures, weather they are in jewelry or cast to stand on their own, are vivid statements of his respect and connection to nature and his intents to call our attention to preserving it.
