Althought we have a wide variety of high quality unique jewelry in our inventory, our costumers are often have their own ideas or commission us to create something in the frame of their guidelines. We would also like to bring it to your attention here that any of the items in our inventory made with the best quality tarnish free sterling silver and that they are available in 10, 14K gold also for order. Elk-ivory jewelry became a large part of our custom design orders. Many of our costumers have their own elk-ivories and we custom fit them one of our already existing design or create a whole new setting. The difference between our custom creations and all the others is that we are artist first and jewelers after. We take your idea and draw it up in life sized colored sketches to illustrate how the finished piece will look . Ildiko has earned an honor certificate at the Gemological Institute of America -a noted jeweler educator - to enable her to do this. The success of her sketches are in her ability to bring out the beauty in almost any material and idea.

Below we would like to show you how the process work:

The order: In this case, the customer would like to have a special setting for her elk-ivory with black hills gold and rack

The sketch: Elk-ivory set in sterling silver a ladie's ring with elk rack and black hills gold.

The wax: Elk-ivory cut to height set in wax.

The finished piece: The elk rack is holding the ivory in place, red and green balck hills gold leaves are soldered and finished on the sides.

Besides working in sterling silver and yellow and white gold, due to our geographic location we are also able to add "black hills gold" to our designs too. We have our unique leaf designs, some die-cut and others cast, to make our designs more outstanding. Ildiko has an intimate relation with black hills gold designs, understanding it from inside out. Whether it is just an addition to an existing idea or fresh new black hills gold designs where the leaves and grapes are taking center stage, we mean it when we say "original."
